About Me

My photo
Dave P.
I purchased my first boat when I was 15 yrs. old and it was a pumpkin seed hydroplane. Since then I have owned several powerboats and sailboats. I have chartered, crewed and delivered sailboats in several places around the world including: New Zealand, Australia, U.S. Virgin Islands and the East and West Coasts of the U.S.. I served as a boating Park Ranger and boating instructor with the National Park Service and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. I am a safety nut and have taken U.S. Coast Guard, American Sailing Assoc., National Park Service and U.S. Army boating courses. My current boat is an Albin 25 Deluxe and it is the perfect boat for me. It is easy to singlehand, is able to handle heavy weather and is easy to trailer.
